What a beautiful fall day for an outdoor sing at an area Retirement home. I visited today and sang some old hymns for my sweet friends. The wind blew and the sun was beating down on my face and, at one point, I put on a gardening hat to shield me from the heat.
We all laughed as the hat flapping in the wind. I kept singing and they joined me. It really didn’t take much to bring a smile to those around me. We were one big family enjoying each other’s company.
I think heaven will be much like today. We will laugh and sing and not care if the wind is blowing or if the sun is hot.
