Settle Disputes Quickly- Matthew 5:25 (NIV)

Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. (Matthew 5:25 NIV)

Arguments are no fun. I have learned not to fan the flame of a disagreement but to remain calm and most of the time say nothing. Disagreements can get out of control and sometimes words are spoken that cannot be erased.

It is better for me to allow the other person time to cool down before returning to the conversation. It is important to settle the disagreement as quickly as possible.

Be Encouraged! When two disagree, it is better to allow time for each to think and pray about it. God will shed light on how to handle the problem.
