For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:14-15 NIV)
I know that we are to forgive others who have sinned against us, but it is not always easy to do so. When someone has spoken harshly or physically beaten another person, the pain is deep. It may take a while until the person can fully forgive.
I know that if we choose to forgive, God will help us where we struggle. Forgiveness frees us.
Be Encouraged! God sees our hurts and He will help us to forgive but first, we must be willing.
