Sometimes, I speak before I think and usually, it does not turn out well. I am sure no one else does this, right? I know that it is important to listen and wait before I speak, but my tongue just wants to get out.
I am definitely a work in progress. I do find myself doing this less because I ask for help. The Holy Spirit guides me and gives me self-control when I submit to Him.
Be Encouraged! If you struggle not listening before speaking, ask God to help you. He never grows tired of us.
