Depend on God
I was talking to a family member yesterday and she made a comment that we cannot expect God to do everything. She mentioned that we need to help ourselves too.
I agree with her to a point. I need to do my part as much as I know how to, but my dependence is not on myself, it is on God. When I seek Him first and ask for His wisdom, I receive all that I need.
If you find yourself trying to do everything on your own and you feel frustrated and worn out, take the time to ask God for help. He is always available.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV)
