But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 30:31)
Why are so many people in a hurry? I see people rushing to and from, but why? Is there a fire they need to get away from or a tornado. Maybe it is just because they are trying to fit too many things into one day.
Since I read the book on slowing down, my health has caused me to slow down considerably. I attempt to work around the house but find myself taking more breaks than usual. I am out of gas. I am sure that God had led me to read that book on slowing down for a reason.
Slowing down and taking the time to see what God is saying is important. If we never slow down and prioritize our time, we will miss God. We will also burn out.
Slow down and wait on God!
