Several weeks ago, I flew to Orlando Florida and drove back to Ohio with my daughter. Her car is an older hybrid that likes to act up so we decided to avoid all interstates which took us three days.
As I reflect on that trip, I can see how God was with us all the way. He kept her car steady on the road, as we traveled many long stretches of wilderness. We were able to find hotels that allowed her service dog and places to eat that were affordable.
Since we have been safely home, we have been facing trials. The car has been showing her age and landing a job has been challenging, but we keep preserving. God is good no matter the trials.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:2-3 NIV)
