In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35 NIV)
A toddler may struggle to share his toys but when he becomes older, he must be trained to share and even to give something away to another who is less fortunate.
When we practice giving and we teach our children to give it becomes much easier when they become adults. Giving can be something that we do without thinking.
