Today, I learned how important it is to be ready, when God opens a door, to pray for someone. I was at an area festival with my husband and a young friend. My husband and I wanted to take time to show our friend around. The unexpected happened.
We were given opportunities to encourage a few people and pray with them on the spot. It was a blessing and learning experience.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, (I Peter 3:15 NIV)
