(Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2)
Recently a family member lost his job and then a brief time later, he and his family suffered from the flu. Losing his job was difficult enough financially and now his wife, the only source of income, was too ill to work.
Questions began to fill his mind. “Why is all of this happening to me?”
Life’s trials can be like bumps in the road. You may be driving smoothly down the street and then bump, you hit an unforeseen pothole. The pothole jars you and now your tire is flat.
When you fix your eyes on Jesus, and ask for His help, He provides for your needs. The flat tire may be a quicker fix than a lost job or having the flu, but it is only a bump in your journey.
God is aware of everything that happens in our lives, and He is the perfecter of our faith. He helps us to navigate through life even when bumps take us off course.
