It was an early morning commute. I was invited to share a story and song, for the children’s ministry, an hour away. This was my first visit. When I entered, I was welcomed warmly. Everyone was friendly.
I was encouraged when I saw how knowledgeable the young children were. When I asked questions, they were quick to respond. I could tell that they had been learning and retaining the Word of God. It is important that we do not forbid the children to come to Jesus.
Some children were brought to Jesus so he could bless them, but the disciples rebuked them. (Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14 NASB)
