See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. (Colossians 1:8)
There are many words being spoken in our world today. Many are false. Some have caused a lot of division instead of unity.
If we are not reading the Word of God and listening to His Spirit, we could be deceived. There are cries of social justice and equality.
God has created all of us in His image. In His eyes, we are all equal. He has given each of us measures of intelligence and skill. Not all of us have the same because He has a purpose and plan for each one.
A person who does not have the schooling and gifting to work as an attorney cannot step into that position just because others may say we need social justice and equal rights. Each person must qualify for that kind of position; higher learning is required.
If we really want to live by truth, God is available to teach us. We only need to be willing. Let us be encouraged today and ask Him about the things the world is speaking in our ears, He will lead us in the right path.
