Forge Ahead- Philippians 3:13 (NIV)

As I start this new year, I need to put aside all those things that so easily entangle me. I need to forget those things that were in the past and press forward to what God has for me.

When the Israelites came out of Egypt, they kept looking back. They struggled to walk by faith and not by sight and some perished in the wilderness.

I am starting fresh and leaving all baggage behind. I am keeping my eyes on the prize, Christ Jesus.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. (Philippians 3:13 NIV)
