Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. (I Peter 5:7)
Sometimes the cares of life can get us down. It is hard not to focus on the trial. When difficult things arise, it can hit us hard. We are caught off guard for we are not expecting, a sudden death of a loved one, a lost job, or an unexpected earthly disaster.
Where can we go when life seems way too hard to deal with? Who can we turn to? The word of God tells us to bring those things to Him. It tells us to cast those burdens on Him because He cares for us. All through the bible, God shows us His faithfulness.
When Daniel, a man who trusted and revered God, was thrown into the lion’s den because He would not stop praying, Daniel cast his concerns on God and in the end, God shut the mouths of the lions and Daniel’s life was spared.
When God told Noah to build a very large boat and no one would listen that a flood was coming to cover the earth, Noah cast his concerns on God and in the end, only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives plus all the animals and species that Noah was instructed to bring on the boat, were spared: all else perished.
God does care for each and every one of us. He is always listening and ready to help us in our time of need.
