For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Herein thou hast done foolishly; for from henceforth thou shalt have wars. (2 Chronicles 6:19 ASB)
I pray my eyes stay single, full of light. It is when I take my eyes off God and His Word that my eyes become dim and lack discernment.
The world gives me so much information through the media. There are often lies mixed with truth and if I lack the truth of God’s Word, I may struggle to decipher what is truth. I may be snared.
I am thankful that the eyes of the Lord are watching. He sees the righteous and protects them.
