Cold, rainy days make me lazy. I want to take a nap and sleep the day away. I know that that is not very productive, but that is how I feel.
I know that I could fall asleep spiritually too. It happens when I do not take the time to read God’s word and take time for prayer, talking to God.
I must persevere when I see myself becoming lazy. I must, no matter how I feel, do what I know is right and productive for my spiritual growth.
Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. (Proverbs 10:4 NIV)
