I am not called to judge others but to speak truth in love, love always and show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement. (James 2:13 NIV).
I know many people think that I am judging them when I tell them what the Bible says about sin but that is not the truth. God’s Word is the truth. If I speak by my own thoughts, that is judging but if I speak what God’s word says, that is truth.
It is always important that I speak truth in love. It is also important that the motive of my heart and attitude is right with God.
Because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgement. (James 2:13 NIV)
