When Joseph went to check on his brothers, he was not greeted kindly. Instead, his brothers sold him into slavery. (Genesis 37:26-28) They were jealous of him.
I am not always greeted with respect. Sometimes, I am not treated kindly, but God has the final word. I must endure and not take vengeance.
Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Instead, always pursue what is good for each other and for everyone else. (Thessalonians 5:15 NIV)
