Practice Silence- Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

What beautiful weather we have been having. The last couple of weeks have been wonderful. I enjoy the evenings when I am out watering my plants. It is quiet and peaceful. I live in the country away from most of the city noise.

I am learning how important it is to be still not allowing other distractions to hinder my hearing God’s voice. It can be difficult to silence all the voices that try to drown Him out, but I must practice silence.

He says, “Be still; and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 NIV)
