I press on toward the goal for the prize for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Sometimes in life, others try to hold us back from becoming our best. It may be the parent who is afraid of their adult child being independent of them. They may still live at home but want to move out on their own. The parents try to hold them back in fear of them failing.
The adult child must press on with the purpose and goal of being their best apart from their parents’ fear.
In our walk with God, we must keep pressing on to walk the straight and narrow road following God’s word. We must not let the world’s ideas and people’s opinions hold us back. We must press on to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
When obstacles come, keep pressing forward. God will see you through it all.
