As we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus our Savior, let us never forget the sacrifice He paid so that we could have eternal life.
Jesus’ execution was brutal. Spikes were driven in his hands and feet. He was beaten beyond recognition, His beard hair was pulled out, a crown of thorns was pushed onto His head while blood trickled down His face, yet He did not try to free Himself.
He willingly laid down His life as the perfect spotless lamb.
