I couldn’t believe the weather this morning. Our temperature was ten degrees with a wind chill of minus four. I think I will stay inside. I have been wanting to bake so this seems like a good day.
I wonder if I can be as cold, when talking to others, when I don’t really listen, but nod my head and say, “yes, I understand.” I am really being insensitive. I am not loving from a warm and kind heart.
I do know the importance of slowing down and taking the time to listen. It is in those warm conversations that encourage the most.
