For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. KJV
In times of trouble, I am standing on the promises of God. They are yes and amen.
Many nights, I wake up in a spiritual battle. It is then that I recall God’s Word. His Word is powerful. It is my bullet. I aim and fire for I fight against spiritual beings that I cannot see.
The enemy of my soul wants to distract me from studying God’s Word because he knows that it is my sword against him. The more of God’s Word I memorize, the greater the victory for me.
So, in times of trial or loss, God’s Word stands true to help me through my journey.
