It is sometimes difficult when someone insults me for no reason. It is then, I have the choice to turn the cheek or retaliate. I would like to say that most always I do but, on a bad day, I may strike back.
Words hurt and once you speak unkind words, you can’t take them back. I have learned that walking away is best for me. It defuses the situation. I guess that is turning the other cheek.
Be Encouraged! We do not always get it right. Ask God for help. Remember He endured harsh words and did not sin.
