There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.

I dislike detours. Most of the time they are not too bad but, yesterday my husband and I found ourselves going in circles. The signs were unclear. Finally, we decided to just enjoy the scenery. It wasn’t too long before we reached our destination.
If I follow the world and its commands, I will detour from the straight road. I will begin to look and act like everyone else. I must discern when I am about to take an unfamiliar path so that I am not deceived and led astray.
God knows how to lead me on the straight path. It is when I am tempted to do things on my own that I stray and get off course.
Be Encouraged! If you desire to follow God so you will not get detoured, He will help you. Ask for His Wisdom and He will guide you.
