How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. (Psalm 133:1 NIV)
Friends who pay you a visit when you are ill, is like having a glass of ice water on a hot summer day. Recently, I was in the hospital with sepsis. I am happy to be home recovering but being in the house for five days made me miss fellowship with friends.
Today, a few friends did stop in to bring my husband and I a meal. I haven’t been cooking much so that was a kind way to show their love for us and I am grateful.
Sometimes, it is the littlest things we do for others that mean the most. I encourage you to be sensitive to what the Lord may be wanting you to do for someone in need.
