And I say unto you, ask and it shall be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. (Luke 11:9 NASB)
When life takes a turn where do you turn? A young woman taking care of her stepmother was faced with a life and death situation when she found her unresponsive in her home. She immediately called 911 and sat by her side and waited for them to come.
The young woman called the family, and they met her at the hospital. The stepmother woke up and asked why she was in the hospital? The nurse explained that she was very ill and if her stepdaughter had not acted, when she did, she would have died.
Who do you call when tragedy happens? When sickness comes and you can’t seem to get well, or you lose a child, or a spouse how do you deal with it all?
Life on earth may take many unexpected turns that catch you off guard. It is important to have someone who knows you better than you know yourself. God who created the world and everything in it does know you better than anyone else and He knows what you have need of. He is the one you can call upon day or night, and He will take care of you if you ask.
Be encouraged, if you seek God, He will answer.
