Who is My Neighbor? – Mark 12:30-31 (NIV)

When Jesus asks us to love our neighbor; who is your neighbor? I used to think that it was my next-door neighbor or those living on my street. Now I have a better understanding.

Loving my neighbor is not only those who live next door, but also those that God puts in my path. It could be my postman, doctor or delivery driver. To be honest, I think I am to love everyone. A good demonstration for me is to treat others as I would want to be treated.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31 NIV)
