I am so thankful to be celebrating with my daughter and son-in-law today. It is their wedding anniversary, a joyful time.
My spiritual anniversary is also a joyful one where I celebrate my spiritual anniversary of receiving Jesus into my heart. I was just a small child when I walked to the altar and knelt to pray. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit leading me to repent of my sins. I will never forget the year and place.
Do you remember your spiritual anniversary? The time you gave Jesus your life and became His child? If you have never asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, you can. You can pray this prayer: “Jesus, I am a sinner, and I need you to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. I believe you came into the world, that you died on the cross for my sins and You rose again. Thank you, Lord, for saving me on this day. Please help me to know you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
