Now there are variety of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. And there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. (I Corinthians 12:4-6 NASB)
While spending time with my small grandchildren, I realize how very different we all are. I see how God can shape and use us in the body of Christ. If we were all the same it would be boring and not challenge us to keep growing.
God knows exactly what He is doing as He puts us strategically in the body of Christ to build it up. It shows us how important it is to value each other, knowing that we are not an island in ourselves.
Be Encouraged! God knows each of us personally and we have been given specific gifts to work along with each other’s.
