The joy of the Lord is your strength- (Read- Nehemiah 8:10 NIV)
I am thankful when the sun is shining. When the clouds fill the sky and it is overcast, my mood seems a little off. I do not feel like doing much.
It can be the same for my spirit when losses and disappointments occur, I can be sad and discouraged but when I focus on Jesus and all that He has done for me, my joy returns. I have a renewed vision of life. I know that sadness lasts for a season but soon it fades.
Be Encouraged! The joy of the Lord truly is our strength in life. Because Christ has overcome the world, we can too.
