I became a great-grandmother yesterday. What a blessing! My great-grandson makes our fifth generation, and I am sure a photo will be taken to celebrate.
A new birth is exciting, but it can be tiring. Everything is new and learning how to properly care for a first child is taxing. I can remember having my first child and the trials of each day.
When you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior, you are born again in the spirit. You are a new creation in Christ. You then begin learning how to live a different life than before. You are like a new baby.
You must train yourself to listen to God’s spirit leading you as you read and study His word. Sometimes you stumble and fall. God knows you are young. He knows how to help you. He is gentle, kind and always faithful.
He will put people in your path to help you along your journey. As you seek Him in all areas, He will guide your path and help you to grow up. Just as new parents learn how to care for a new baby, God will care for you as your heavenly Father.
He is always available. You can count on Him.
