I have been thinking about the time that I spend listening. My daily tasks pile up and sometimes I think about them more than I do about my time to listen, listening for God to speak to my heart.
I read His Word, but am I really taking the needed time to listen to what He may be wanting to speak to me? My mind fills with the duties of the day and then I am off running to the task before me.
You may be falling into the same scenario, but there is hope. We can change our habits and get on track by taking the time through our day to sit still and listen, with our heart’s intent, to hear what our great God is saying to us.
