“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm and neither hot not cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3: 15-16)
There are many wealthy people in the world who think they do not need to call upon the Lord. They think their wealth will get them all that they want and need but, if they do not have the Son of God, Jesus Christ, in their heart and life, they are poor and wretched. They are empty and dry.
Every human being needs God. They may not know it yet, but they do. Wealth and material things cannot bring true fulfillment. Putting on a mask to pretend you are happy won’t last forever.
Give your heart and life to the Savior. He is the only one who can give perfect peace. You may lose all your worldly possessions, but with Christ, you will be rich, and happy.
As believers we need to be on fire for Christ, devoting each day to His will and way. Being lukewarm is not where we want to find ourselves. That is like tottering between good and evil.
Make a choice today to give all you are to Christ. Follow Him closely so on that day, you will not be rejected as lukewarm.
