Martha, Martha you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.

Life can be busy with many responsibilities. Many things like jobs, rearing children, after school sports and activities, watching media and such take up our time. How many hours can we give all these responsibilities without giving God His time?
Jesus was in the house of Martha and Mary. Martha was concerned about serving a meal and Mary, Matha’s sister was sitting at the feet of Jesus listening to Him. Martha, complained to Jesus about Mary helping her but Jesus told her that Mary had chosen what was best; to set and spend time with Him.
When have we chosen being busy instead of spending time with Jesus?
Be Encouraged! If you find yourself being too busy and you haven’t taken the needed time with Jesus, you can change. Ask God to help you balance your time each day. You will be happy that you did.
