Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Where in the world can I find rest when I am weary? There is a weariness in my soul that only God can give. I have received this rest many times although I can’t explain it.
First, I must acknowledge that I need help. I must humble myself and admit that I cannot do anything to get the inner rest needed. It is when I give up my own efforts and surrender to God’s help that rest comes.
Be Encouraged! If you are experiencing weariness in body or soul, ask God to give you rest. He will strengthen you and help you in every way.
