But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 NASB)
I have found in my life that when I put God first each day, He supplies for all my needs. I cannot possibly know everything that I have need of. Unexpected things can crop up.
Each day casts its trials and joys. My washer may break down, my children become sick, a loved one dies and so forth. When I put God first, I can be assured that He will guide each step.
It brings me joy in knowing that no matter what comes my way, He is in control of it and will intervene on my behalf.
