HOPE AMID TRIALS- Isaiah 40:31 (NASB)

HOPE AMID THE TRIALS

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.                                                                                  (Isaiah 40:31 NIV)

Everyone needs hope, especially when trials come. I need hope all the time. When I struggle with thoughts of inadequacy and doubt, I look to see what God is doing around me. I try to turn the focus off myself and onto others.

I find hope in nature. I take walks on my land and listen. I hear many birds communicating their own unique chirps and I am encouraged. I know God feeds the birds and cares for them.

I then look around me and see the trees budding and the grass growing. God takes care of the trees and grass, so it grows. I don’t. Nature teaches me that God is in control of everything.

Even though I face trials, God is there working. I may not understand the trial, but I know He will help me amid it.

Be encouraged! Trials come, but if we focus on Jesus, He will show us how to overcome. He will show us all the positive things He is doing around us.
