Kindness is a Fruit-Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 NIV)

I enjoy helping others when there is a need. In the past, I was able to lift more weight than I can now. I do not think that others care about how much I can do for them, rather, that I care enough to put their needs ahead of my own. I am planting seeds of kindness.

Kindness is just one of the fruits of the Spirit. It is one that means a great deal to the one who is on the receiving end. Letting a car go ahead of me in traffic, opening a door at the grocery store, or giving away a new dress that I wanted to wear to a stranger are all acts of kindness.

Believe me, when I show kindness to someone, I am the one being blessed.

Be Encouraged! For many years, I was on the receiving end of kindness, and it was wonderful. Let kindness rule in your heart.
