I do enjoy eating ice cream and sharing some with a friend is even better. I met with a close friend at our favorite ice cream parlor for a delicious treat. It had been several months since we last see each other. We had a lot of catching up to do.
We shared back and forth, and I learned about her children and new grandchildren, and I filled her in on mine. I do enjoy meeting with friends. I always walk away feeling grateful for taking the time to listen. Listening to other people matters. Everyone has something to share.
I should never become so busy that I do not have time for others. I know that my life can become busy, but much of it may not be needed. I must sift through all the to do’s and see what is necessary. Spending time with others is important.
