Thank goodness the weekend is here. I know many people dread the work week because some spend their eight or ten hours on the telephone dealing with patients or clients. I have been there so I know how draining it can be.
When I am burned out from dealing with phone calls all day, I take time to get quiet. I take a long time out from everything and allow the over-load to diffuse.
Jesus had been ministering to many people. When He was finished, He needed a quiet place to pray.
After leaving them, He went up on a mountainside to pray. (Mark 6:46 NIV)
Be Encouraged! Jesus has shown us what to do when we are weary. When He was done with the work at hand, He went off by Himself and got quiet before His Heavenly Father.
