Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is part of it.

I met someone new yesterday. He was visiting His mother at one of the retirement homes that I minister at. I didn’t even catch his name. We talked as if we had known each other for a long time. That is how it is when you meet a believer in Christ. They are our brother or sister, and we have the same Spirit of God living in us. We are family.
As we talked, I found that we knew the same people. Soon the conversation ended, and we parted ways. I believe we will have the same experience in heaven. Even though we have never met one another, we will fellowship as one big family.
The body of Christ is made up of members. We are not all white or black. Some are different nationalities, but we are one family.
Be Encouraged! The moment you put your faith in Christ, you became a part of God’s family. No matter where you have come from, you belong.
