He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor. (Proverbs 22:9 NASB)
Have you ever found yourself in a place of need? Maybe it’s something as small as needing your house cleaned because your wife is ill, or you travel for your job, and you need some extra help with your lawn care.
Whatever the need may be, it is nice when others see and are generous with their time and resources. As a believer, you will be blessed when you meet someone else’s need. It always feels better when you give rather than receive, especially when the other person cannot repay you.
The word of God teaches that you should give to those who cannot repay you. Luke 14:12-24. (NASB) That is love.
Be encouraged, there are many ways for you to be generous. If you ask, God will show you.
