When the Wind Blows
We have had some powerful winds lately and many people have had trees down and a lot of damage to deal with.
The wind can be unpredictable. We never know where it’s coming from or where it is going until it hits something or someone.
Nicodemus came to Jesus at night. He knew that Jesus was a teacher because he said to Jesus, “no one can do what you do unless he had come from God.” (John 3:2 NASB)
Jesus told Nicodemus that unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 NASB) Jesus also explained, “Unless one be born of water and spirit, one cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (vrs.5)
The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, and do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the spirit. (John 3:8 NASB)
When the wind blows, listen.
