Settle the Conflict-Matthew 18:15-16

And if your brother sins, go and reprove him in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not listen to you, take one or two with you so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed. (Matthew 18: 15-16 NASB)

Conflict can be difficult to resolve, especially if it is a family one. One may say something against another and if the thoughts continue, it may snowball unless delt with in the right way.

Words can hurt. They can destroy a relationship unless we deal with it from the start. The devil loves to stir up strife. He is definitely at the root of it. When we discern his tactics, it is easier to defuse the conflict.

It is extremely important to keep right relationships with each other. Being able to talk face to face, in the right moment, is crucial.

God’s word tells us to first speak directly with the person. If the person is unwilling to listen, then we are to take one or two persons with us and try again.

In the end, settling a dispute is the goal.
