Don’t Worry! Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

Lately, I have been finding a lot on my plate. It can be difficult sorting through the mess. I find peace when I take these many things to the Lord. He helps me to remember that He is in control, and I am not supposed to worry. Not to worry is easy to say, but harder to stop doing.

I think it is a human thing. I see the circumstances right in front of me, and my mind wants to keep focusing on them. I know when that happens, I must pull out God’s word and remind myself again, that He has the problems already figured out.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) reads: Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
