So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7 NIV)
While traveling one day, I noticed how the trees were growing out of the side of the hill. I wondered what kept them standing and then I realized that their roots were deep into the soil.
I need to go deep with Jesus. I need to be watered in His word daily. When the storms of life come and the wind whips, I need to be grounded deep in the soil so I will not be uprooted.
Be Encouraged! You can get rooted and grounded so when the storms of life come, you will be able to stand.
