Whoever has ears, let them hear. (Matthew 11:15 NIV)
God is speaking to us about John the Baptist in this verse. Not everyone was listening. Jesus was sharing how there has never been any one like John.
How many times do I miss hearing God speak? How many times am I too distracted, working for God instead of listening to Him? I am guilty of not listening.
I must have spiritual ears to hear. I must determine to set aside adequate time to quiet myself before the Lord. It may take time to become sensitive enough to hear but I am hopeful.
Be Encouraged! If you are struggling setting time aside to listen for God to speak, I understand. It is not too late to start today.
